Terms

What we both agree to

What you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and how plans and billing work.

Accepting these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and the team behind BlueSquare ("we", "us"), who run the service from Morocco. Creating an account or using the site means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

They work alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data.

What the service does

BlueSquare is a study workspace. You write pages of notes, ask questions against those pages, and generate multiple choice quizzes and flashcard decks from them. Workspaces can be shared with classmates. The answers, quizzes and decks are produced by third-party large language models working from the material in your workspace.

Your account

  • You sign in with a Google account — there is no separate password for us to issue.
  • Keep that Google account secure. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
  • The details on your account must be accurate and genuinely yours.
  • Accounts are personal. Do not share a login — invite the person into the workspace instead.

You must be at least 16 years old to hold an account, and at least 18 to buy a paid plan.

Workspaces and collaborators

A workspace has one owner, plus anyone that owner invites. Collaborators can read and edit every page in the workspace and see everything generated from it. The owner controls the plan, the billing and the access list, and can remove a collaborator or delete the workspace at any time.

Plans sit on the workspace rather than the person, so upgrading lifts the limits for everyone working in it.

Plans, limits and fair use

Every workspace starts on Free, with 30 AI generations a month and caps on quiz length, deck size and how many pages one generation can draw from. Pro raises each of those limits and runs on a more capable model. The limits that apply today are shown on the pricing section and inside the workspace settings, and we may adjust them as the product and our own costs change.

Allowances reset on the first of each month and do not roll over. When a workspace runs out, generation pauses until the reset or until the owner upgrades — nothing already in the workspace is lost, and you can carry on writing pages.

Automated, bulk or resold use of the AI features, and anything intended to work around these limits, is not allowed.

Payment and renewal

  • Paid plans are sold and processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. Your purchase contract is with Paddle; the service itself is provided by us.
  • Prices are shown at checkout, including any tax Paddle has to collect for your country.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the price current at that time, until they are cancelled.
  • If a payment fails, Paddle retries it while the workspace stays on Pro for a short grace period. If it remains unpaid, the workspace drops back to Free.
  • We will give notice before a price change applies to an existing subscription.

Cancelling

The owner can cancel at any time from the workspace settings, which opens the Paddle customer portal. Cancelling stops the next renewal: the workspace keeps Pro until the end of the period already paid for, then returns to Free. Your content stays exactly where it is — only the limits change.

Refunds

If BlueSquare is not what you expected, email hello@bluesquare.space within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it. Refunds are issued by Paddle under its buyer terms and go back to the original payment method. After 14 days we will still look at any request where something went wrong on our side.

Your content

Your notes, questions, quizzes and decks belong to you and we claim no ownership of them. You give us the permission we need to store, display and process that material so the service can run, including sending the relevant parts to a model provider when you ask for a generation. That permission ends when you delete the content.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. Do not put copyrighted course material into a workspace unless you are permitted to.

AI output

Answers, quizzes and flashcards are generated by a language model and can be wrong, incomplete or confidently misleading. Check anything that matters against your source material before relying on it. BlueSquare is a revision aid, not a source of truth, and nothing it produces is academic, legal, medical or financial advice.

How you use the output is up to you, including keeping to your school or university rules on academic honesty and the use of AI.

What you must not do

  • Break the law, or use the service to harm, harass or impersonate anyone
  • Upload malware, or content that is illegal or infringes somebody else’s rights
  • Push the models towards producing illegal or harmful content
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, resell or rent access to the platform
  • Probe, overload or interfere with our infrastructure, or bypass plan and rate limits
  • Use the service to build a competing product

Our intellectual property

The site, the app, the BlueSquare name and everything we built to run them remain ours. These terms give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing, and nothing more.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep the service up, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability: maintenance happens, and the providers we depend on occasionally go down. We may add, alter or retire parts of the service. If we retire something you are actively paying for, we will tell you and refund the unused part of the period.

Suspension and termination

You can leave whenever you like by deleting your workspaces or your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or puts the platform or other users at risk — with warning where we reasonably can, immediately where the problem is serious. If we close a paid account without cause, we refund the unused part of the period.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or that generated output will be accurate.

Limits of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost data, exam or coursework outcomes, or any indirect or consequential loss. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you have paid us nothing.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, and if you are a consumer your statutory rights are unaffected.

Data and privacy

All personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of the material you write, you can delete a workspace or your whole account at any time, and card details are handled by Paddle rather than by us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top tells you when they last moved, and material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Morocco, and the courts of Morocco have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
